
This event is hosted by the THA, facilitated by the AHA and local FBI, and sponsored by the Partnership for Healthcare and Emergency Management of The Institute for Homeland Security at Sam Houston State University. The full-day workshop begins at 8:00 AM with breakfast, followed by opening remarks. The program kicks off at 9:00 AM with a panel discussion on the current Threat Landscape, featuring insights from the AHA and local FBI resources. This is followed by a Cyber Preparedness and Incident Response panel, where 2-3 hospital executive members will share their perspectives on organizational preparedness and response. After lunch, participants will engage in a cyber incident tabletop exercise, concluding with a lessons learned and summary session at 3:00 PM.
