(AUSTIN, Texas – Nov. 7, 2024) – The Texas Hospital Association has announced additional new leadership ahead of the 89th Texas Legislative session. THA has selected Will Holleman as its new vice president of advocacy and public policy.

In this role, Holleman will be a key member of THA’s lobby team, handling numerous hospital-related issues including public health, price transparency, commercial insurance, quality and patient safety, and several other key policy issues.
Previously, Holleman was director of government affairs for Raise Your Hand Texas. Prior to that, he worked at the Texas Association of School Boards and also as chief of staff for Rep. Jimmie Don Aycock, who served as the chair of the House Public Education Committee.
Holleman brings more than a decade of experience and legislative knowledge to THA. THA’s lobby team also includes seasoned advocates Sara González and Ben Williams and is led by Carrie Kroll, THA’s senior vice president of advocacy and public policy.
